Stream Racer

Stream Racer is a free-to-play multiplayer racing game for Twitch streamers that remains in Early Access. LUVI GAMES has kept up a consistent stream of updates since the game launched in June 2020, and development shows no signs of winding down. The game has now shipped four notable major content updates: the Track Builder on December 16, 2022 (which introduced full custom track creation with a per-season paid model), a third major update announced in August 2024 teasing a new vehicle, and most recently Update 2.4 on September 18, 2026 — which delivered the ninth vehicle (the Box Truck) along with 20 illustrated skins for it, five new skins for each of the eight original vehicles (60 new looks in total), eight new Track Builder scenery objects, and balance adjustments. Earlier in 2026, the February 15 Chaos Update added a limited-time Wheel of Chaos event and 20 new Steam achievements, and a February 3 patch overhauled the Twitch authentication system. The developer has not announced any plans for a 1.0 release or a conclusion to Early Access. The sustained pattern of major content updates — with the most recent arriving on September 18, 2026 — makes clear that active development is ongoing. Waiting for a 1.0 release before playing is a reasonable consideration, as the developer has given no indication of when or whether that transition will happen.
