Evaluation
Summer Fling is a short visual novel that launched on June 16, 2016. Its only DLC — a soundtrack — was released on the same day as the game itself. The developer's news posts from around launch consist of minor script corrections and a small feature patch (adding protagonist naming and adjusting romance route difficulty), both from June 2016. No post-launch content updates, expansions, or roadmaps were ever announced for the game. All subsequent news posts from Dharker Studios are announcements for entirely separate, unrelated games in their catalog. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained package and has received no content additions since launch. There are no unreleased DLC entries and no developer communications indicating any future content is planned for this title.
