SUPERゆきおんなちゃん launched on July 6, 2021 and has received two major content updates since then: Version 1.8.0 on November 18, 2021 (which added a bonus stage, new equipment, and new events) and Version 2.0.0 on August 20, 2023 (a substantial update adding a new area, a new "Special" difficulty, time attack mode, and new gameplay mechanics). Following the Version 2.0.0 release, the developer has only issued maintenance-type updates: a difficulty tweak and URL fix in April 2025, and a Unity engine version update in October 2025 that explicitly stated "no changes to the game itself." No new areas, content, or features have been announced. No DLC exists on the store. The developer has made no statements about plans for additional content. The most recent post (October 5, 2025) is purely a technical maintenance update with no gameplay changes. Given the pattern of two major content drops followed by maintenance-only activity, and no announcements of any kind suggesting further content, the game appears to have reached its completed state with the Version 2.0.0 update on August 20, 2023.
