Super Blue Fighter

Super Blue Fighter launched on May 5, 2016 as a paid casual arcade game. The developer, Herrero Games, released several content patches throughout 2016 — adding new enemy types, items, and platform support — and continued with occasional maintenance updates into 2017. On November 15, 2018, the game received its final known update (v1.1.0), which replaced the leaderboard system with Steam's official one. Shortly after, on November 23, 2018, the game was made permanently free to play. The developer's last communication of any kind was the December 1, 2018 announcement promoting their new game, Mercury Race — a clear signal that the studio had moved on to new projects. No new content, patches, roadmaps, or developer communications have appeared since December 1, 2018. There is no DLC, no announced future content, and no indication of any planned updates. The game appears to have launched as a modest finished product and received a handful of post-launch content additions before the developer shifted focus entirely. It has been complete since the final update in November 2018.
