Super Bomberman R launched on PC on June 12, 2018. After launch, Konami shipped two feature updates: version 2.1 on June 29, 2018 (adding Snake Bomber characters from Metal Gear) and version 2.2 on September 19, 2018 (adding characters from Pop'n Music and Portal, plus new Grand Prix stages themed around Castlevania). Both updates added new characters and content as crossover additions to the base game. No developer communications have appeared since September 19, 2018 — nearly eight years ago — and no future content, DLC, or roadmap has been announced. There are no unreleased DLC entries in the store listing. The store description does not reference any planned additions. All evidence points to the game having concluded its post-launch content cycle with the September 2018 update.

Version 2.2 released, adding Mimi and Nyami Bomber from Pop'n Music, new Castlevania Grand Prix stages, and ATLAS Bomber from Portal. This is the last known developer communication.
