Super Lesbian Animal RPG launched on December 20, 2022 as a complete, self-contained RPG with a definitive ending. The developer (ponett) was explicit about this in the January 6, 2023 v1.1 patch notes, stating: "I don't currently have any plans to add a huge amount of content to the game. Right now I think it's already long enough, and the game's structure (with a definitive ending and no postgame) isn't conducive to adding DLC." The developer also noted that the game took nearly eight years to make and that the existing content is what they consider the finished product.
Following launch, the developer released a series of bug fix and quality-of-life patches through October 2023, improving balance, fixing bugs, and adding minor accessibility features like an "Additional Guidance" mode and area maps. The most recent recorded update is v1.2.3 on October 26, 2023. There are no unreleased DLC items listed on the store, no roadmap, and no announcements of future content. The game shipped as a complete package and the developer has confirmed it is intended to remain that way.

Super Lesbian Animal RPG is a game about love, anxiety, and fighting funny looking monsters in dungeons. It follows the stories of Melody, her girlfriend Allison, and their friends Claire, a rule-bending witch, and Jodie, a dependable knight. Over the course of their journey, our inexperienced heroes will meddle with forces beyond their control and find themselves responsible for the fate of their hometown. They'll also fight some spherical frogs, travel to a forgotten land in the sky, befriend a robot or two, and piss off the local librarian. But that should go without saying.
