Knight Bewitched

Knight Bewitched originally launched on April 18, 2018 as a complete standalone jRPG. The developer, Joshua Keith, released a major free overhaul — the Enhanced Edition — on August 2, 2021, which substantially revised the game's content, writing, mechanics, and locations. The Enhanced Edition's accompanying paid DLC (a soundtrack and player's guide) followed on August 5, 2021. All listed DLC has been released with no unreleased items on the store. Since August 2021, the developer's communications about Knight Bewitched have been limited to minor bug fixes (most recently on May 23, 2023) and community items like trading cards (March 2023). There are no announcements of additional content planned for the game itself. The developer's creative focus has clearly shifted to other titles in the Knights of Ambrose series — notably Absinthia, which launched in March 2023. A February 2022 developer post explicitly noted that a previously referenced game was "no longer in development" and confirmed attention was moving toward Absinthia. The store description positions Knight Bewitched as "the first entry in the Knights of Ambrose Saga" and describes the Enhanced Edition as the current version of the game. No future updates, DLC, or expansions have been announced for Knight Bewitched. The game appears to have reached its complete, finished state with the August 5, 2021 Enhanced Edition DLC release.
