Superliminal launched on November 5, 2020 as a complete first-person puzzle game. After launch, Pillow Castle delivered a substantial wave of free post-launch content: a level editor beta (December 2020), a free multiplayer "Group Therapy" update with battle royale mode (November 5, 2021), co-op mode for up to four players plus additional puzzle rooms (December 17, 2021), and a platform expansion bringing multiplayer to macOS and Linux with further new rooms (February 21, 2022). A seasonal holiday cosmetics return in multiplayer marked the final major content release on December 22, 2022, followed by a multiplayer improvements patch on February 20, 2023 — the last developer communication on record. That February 2023 patch was a maintenance-level update rather than new content. There have been no developer posts, announcements, or new content releases since February 20, 2023. The only DLC listed is the soundtrack album, which shipped on launch day. No future content has been announced, no roadmap is active, and the developer has not signaled any plans for further updates. The post-launch content cycle appears to have concluded naturally, with the game now standing as a complete package including its base campaign, level editor, multiplayer modes, and co-op.
