Viewfinder launched on July 18, 2023 as a complete, self-contained single-player puzzle game. In a pre-launch blog post on July 12, 2023, the developer described the game as having "a beginning, a middle, and an end," explicitly framing it as a finished product after more than four years of development. These updates added small conveniences like motion sickness reduction settings, mouth animations for a character, and Traditional Chinese language support, alongside a Unity engine security update. However, none of these patches introduced new levels, story content, or any announcement of future content — they are maintenance updates for a game that shipped as a complete experience. No DLC has been announced or listed on the store. The store description describes the game's content without referencing any planned additions.
