Supremacy: World War 3 (formerly Conflict of Nations: World War 3) is a free-to-play, persistent multiplayer strategy game that has operated as a live service since its launch on March 15, 2018. The game runs on a seasonal content model, with named seasons introducing new units, scenarios, mechanics, and missions on a recurring basis.
The most recent major content drop is Season 21 "Solar Flare," which launched on August 19, 2026 — just eight days before today's date. Before that, a mid-season update for "Underworld Protocol" shipped on June 17, 2026, and "Fractured Domination" launched on December 11, 2025. The "Officer Expansion" — described by the developer as "one of the most significant additions to date" — also shipped on August 21, 2025. This establishes a dense and active cadence of substantial content releases throughout 2025 and right up to the present day in 2026.
On April 29, 2025, the developer announced that Bytro and Dorado Games have merged into a single unified company, bringing all their strategy games — including this one — under the "Supremacy" franchise umbrella. The post explicitly stated this means "more content and improvements" and "a stronger foundation for future updates and community support."
