SURVIVAL: Postapocalypse Now officially released on December 3, 2019 and received a steady stream of updates from the developer through 2021. Six major content updates were shipped across the game's post-launch life, along with numerous feature patches and bug fixes. The most recent developer communication of any kind was the Autumn Update posted on November 12, 2021, which added a new map and anti-cheat integration. Since that date — now over four and a half years ago as of June 2026 — there has been no further news post, patch, or communication from TB Games. The store description contains a line stating "we are working on developing this game," but this appears to be a static, evergreen description that was not updated alongside the development timeline and is not treated as a current developer commitment. Both DLC items (the Supporter Pack and Special Forces Pack) were released back in 2019 and no unreleased DLC exists. With no announced future content, no active update cadence, and a prolonged silence far exceeding what would be expected even for an infrequent update schedule, the game appears to have reached the end of its development cycle.

Who are you and where are you? - Unknown. You only know that you are not alone here. Have you heard the saying - "Man to man - the wolf"? Now it works! And it works damn good! Do you want to survive? - A few have managed to survive with their bare hands. Arm yourself and set your way. What happened to the world around, and why world died - it is possible to find out the reason, but whether it is...is it the main issue today, eh?
