Survivor launched on July 12, 2021 as a free-to-play wave-based zombie survival FPS developed solo by KolaCape. After a long dormant period, the developer returned in 2026 and shipped a major rework (v0.4) on June 29, 2026, with stated plans for regular content updates. Those plans were quickly abandoned: on August 3, 2026, the developer announced the game was entering maintenance mode after the rework failed to generate renewed interest, explicitly stating that no further content updates, major features, or gameplay expansions were planned. The final content update, v0.41, had already shipped on July 24, 2026. On August 9, 2026, the developer formally confirmed that development had ended, designating v0.41 as the final build and announcing the game would be delisted. A delisting date of September 24, 2026 was confirmed on August 14, 2026. On September 15, 2026, the game transitioned to free-to-play ahead of removal. On September 23, 2026, the developer posted a final 24-hour warning. Today — September 24, 2026 — is the confirmed delisting date, and the game no longer has any purchase options available on Steam, consistent with that. Players who already own it retain access in their libraries. The developer has moved on to a new project called Crownfront.
