ETERNAL BLOOD entered Steam Early Access on February 18, 2021, built by a two-person indie team. At launch, the developers were enthusiastic and transparent: they posted a roadmap-style announcement on February 19, 2021 promising new maps, monsters, and game modes in the coming months, contingent on community support. A patch on February 25, 2021 delivered balance and quality-of-life improvements, and on April 10, 2021 the team reaffirmed they were focused on developing new levels and creatures — acknowledging it would take time given the small team size. That April 10, 2021 post was the last time the developer communicated publicly. No updates, patches, blog posts, or announcements have appeared since. The game has remained in Early Access for over five years with no progress toward the 1.0 release or the content additions that were promised. The original plans for new levels, enemies, and game modes were never delivered. There is no indication whether development is continuing, on hold, or has quietly stopped.
