Evaluation
Project R.I.P. launched into Early Access on August 20, 2019 and reached its 1.0 full release on October 12, 2019. During and after launch, the developer was active: a major Christmas update (version 1.30) shipped on December 22, 2019, adding two new horde maps and nine zombie variations — fulfilling the two horde maps that had been promised in earlier update posts. The last recorded developer communication is Update 1.40, posted on April 4, 2020, which delivered quality-of-life improvements and additional language support.
The store description still mentions "next updates will gradually introduce 2 endless horde maps," but this language predates the Christmas 2019 update that shipped exactly those two maps (Minions Massacre and Hell Awaits), so that promise appears to have been fulfilled. No further content has been announced since April 4, 2020, and there are no unreleased DLC entries on the store.
Across 34 total developer posts, there were 9 major content releases — nearly all of which occurred during the Early Access period leading up to the October 2019 launch. After the 1.0 release, only two post-launch updates were recorded (1.30 in December 2019 and 1.40 in April 2020), with no activity since. The developer stated on September 1, 2019 that "Project RIP will be 100% finished [and] will not be abandoned," which was a commitment made during Early Access and has since been fulfilled by reaching 1.0. There is no indication of planned future content, no roadmap, and no developer communication after April 4, 2020. The game appears to have reached its completed state.
Evidence
Christmas update 1.30 shipped two new horde maps (Minions Massacre and Hell Awaits) and nine new zombie variations, fulfilling the two promised horde map additions.
Game reached full 1.0 release, graduating from Early Access with a comprehensive set of fixes and additions.

About this game
BACKGROUND STORY
Life as we know doens’t exist, hordes of undead and demons have emerged and now rule the earth. The human race was forced to live in underground shelters in order to survive. To take what used to be theirs, humanity gathered forces and established small specialised teams to eliminate the threat. This action was called Project Rest in Pieces, aka R.I.P .
Killing the undying would not be enough, instead humanity developed an extremely advanced AI technology to manipulate specialized forces, now called “Agents”, in order to command from headquarters.
Using this advanced technology, AI called by project’s name “R.I.P.”, managed to capture the leftover souls of the undead to perform improvements on Agents gear, weaponry, but also on their strength and abilities.
Now it’s up to you, to save what remains...
