Swordship

Swordship launched on December 5, 2022. After release, the developer posted a year-end update on December 22, 2022 promising announcements about upcoming features in January 2023. That promise was fulfilled by Update 1.1, which shipped on June 2, 2023, adding a new "Arranged" game mode, a revamped progression system, new upgrades, and numerous balance improvements. This is the only major post-launch content update the game received. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no announced future content, and no developer communications of any kind after June 2023. The most recent news post (March 18, 2025) is a publisher bundle promotion for an entirely different game (Reignbreaker), referencing Swordship only as a bundled title to offer a discount — it contains no information about Swordship's own development. With only a single post-launch content update and no subsequent developer communications about Swordship itself in over three years, the game appears to have shipped as a complete product with one post-launch improvement patch, and development has concluded.
