Evaluation
Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown launched on September 14, 2021. After release, the developer shipped a substantial feature patch on February 4, 2022 (Patch 006) addressing camera systems, control layouts, and a variety of bugs, followed by a targeted hotfix on December 21, 2022 (Patch 007). Those two patches represent the entirety of post-launch developer activity on this game.
From May and June 2024, Tin Man Games posted to the game's Steam page about their next project, NEON Squad Tactics — a follow-up VR tactics game. These posts were essentially cross-promotional announcements directed at Table of Tales fans, not updates to the game itself. There is no DLC, no expansion, and no roadmap for additional content. The developer's own messaging frames NEON Squad Tactics as the studio's current focus, with no mention of further development for The Crooked Crown.
The store description presents the game as a complete, self-contained narrative adventure with a defined campaign and no ongoing content cycle. No unreleased DLC is listed. The last meaningful update to the game was December 21, 2022, and developer attention has clearly shifted to their next title. The game appears to have launched and been supported to completion as a finished product.
Evidence
Developer announces NEON Squad Tactics is available to wishlist on Steam. Studio focus has moved to this new title with no mention of further Table of Tales content.
Major post-launch patch (Patch 006) overhauling non-VR camera systems, controls, and fixing numerous gameplay issues reported since release.

Please Note: Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown was originally designed for VR. When playing the non-VR mode you may notice some differences in gameplay than what is shown in the trailer or screenshots. The interactive wands that pick up characters, select cards, and roll dice are removed from the non-VR mode. All interactions in the non-VR mode are controlled with a mouse/keyboard or with a controller. Pressing 'escape' on your keyboard will bring up the menu for the Controls.
