Tadpole Treble launched on Steam on September 2, 2016 after a period in Early Access. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained package with 30 original music compositions, 13 levels, 5 boss battles, a Composition Mode, and online leaderboards. The most significant post-launch update was the addition of Steam Workshop support on June 19, 2018, which allowed players to share community-created stages and music — a feature that complemented the already-included Composition Mode. No further content updates, DLC, or developer communications have followed that June 2018 post. BitFinity has made no announcements of planned expansions, additional story content, or future updates. The game has no DLC listings on the store. With nearly 8 years of silence since the last developer communication and no outstanding commitments of any kind, Tadpole Treble appears to have concluded its post-launch support with the Steam Workshop implementation.

As Baton, you’ll literally be “playing along” with the game’s music as you dodge past predators and obstacles who take the place of the notes for that level’s song. Avoid enemies and hit percussive notes on the beat to accumulate points and fill your Treble Charge to blast through anything in your path.
Tadpole Treble features 30 original music compositions, 13 levels, and 5 boss battles. In addition to the story mode, the game includes bonus content such as unlockable music, a large bestiary, game commentaries, and online leaderboards for every level. Best of all is the robust Composition Mode which lets players create their own original levels and music!
