Talisman: Origins launched on May 16, 2019 and received three paid DLC expansions — Beyond the Veil (July 4, 2019), The Legend of Pandora's Box (August 29, 2019), and The Eternal Conflict (November 21, 2019) — along with several free "Tales" updates during the same period. All DLC listed on the store has been released, and no further content was announced or shipped after November 2019. On December 17, 2024, Nomad Games announced the game would be delisted from all storefronts as of December 20, 2024, citing what appears to be a licensing arrangement ending. However, the delisting was reversed: on April 14, 2026, the game relaunched on Steam as part of the "Warhammer Classics" initiative, a curated collection of older Games Workshop licensed titles published in partnership with SNEG and Games Workshop. The game is once again available for purchase. The relaunch is framed as a preservation/celebration effort for classic titles, not as a resumption of active development. No new content was announced alongside the return, and the developer has made no statements about future updates or expansions. All three DLC packs remain released, and the content development cycle concluded in late 2019.
