Following launch, the developer shipped several balance and feature patches through mid-2018, and released one piece of paid DLC — an adult-only content pack — on October 11, 2018. That same day, the developer posted a note about changes to how the adult content is accessed, closing with "We will not update previous version any more," signaling the end of active patching.
No further updates to the game itself have been made since October 2018. The more recent news posts from 2026 and earlier are publisher announcements promoting other Henteko Doujin games (Kamikaze Empire and Revolgear Zero), using Tenta Shooter's news feed as a promotional channel — they contain no new content for Tenta Shooter itself.
