Muse Dash is a live rhythm game that has been receiving a continuous, high-frequency stream of major content updates since its release on June 19, 2019. The game is built around "Muse Plus," a pass that unlocks access to an ever-growing library of music packs, characters, and collaborations — currently described as including approximately 500 songs, with more being added regularly. In September 2024, the developer made an important public announcement: existing paid DLCs would be removed from sale, and no new paid DLCs would be introduced going forward. However, the announcement explicitly confirmed that new song packs, new characters, and new collaborations are all in preparation, and that Muse Plus holders will receive all future updates for free. This was a business model shift — not a signal of the game winding down. The update cadence confirms ongoing activity.
