Evaluation
Territory Idle launched into Early Access and officially released on September 10, 2019. The developer had been actively updating the game throughout 2019, shipping major content updates including Divine Trials (May 1, 2019), new gods and nations (June 21, 2019), the Paladin hero class (August 3, 2019), and a significant Space/colonization expansion (October 16, 2019). In August 2019, the developer stated their intent to exit Early Access, noting that while they didn't expect major mechanical changes, they intended to continue adding content and fixing bugs.
After 2019, developer activity slowed considerably. A window settings patch shipped on August 30, 2023, followed by an achievements bugfix on September 12, 2023 — the last recorded communication from the developer. Notably, on August 1, 2023, the developer announced they were moving on to build a new game called "Epic Auto Towers," signaling a shift in focus away from Territory Idle.
There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content for Territory Idle, and no post-launch content cadence that would suggest more is coming. The developer's attention has visibly moved to their next project. The most recent update on September 12, 2023 was a bug fix, and no further communications have followed. The game appears to be complete as shipped.

About this game
A lot of options. You can build up tiles with different buildings, go to the production of wheat, wood, stone or faith. Or create a balanced option. One option will be good for later abdication and getting gold, the other for hero leveling, the third, for example, for a quick restart, and so on.
You can choose the pantheon (from several options - in a sense, how the pantheon is selected in Civilization 5), and then choose religion and god. Each pantheon has its own effect, and each god has 3 perks, and every perk has its own effect also. In addition, for the gods, you can choose religious servants. There is a lot of combinations.
You can build an academy and hire a hero. Hero fights for tiles. You can choose a hero class. And before each fight, you can choose a weapon, shield and helmet. Again, many options.
The game gradually opens new content, new strategies of the game appear from it.
And since idle games involve restarts, you can restart for profit and at the same time try a different combination and strategy.
