The Bazaar launched on August 13, 2025 and has operated as a continuously evolving multiplayer game since day one. The developer, Tempo, has maintained an extremely active update cadence throughout the game's first year. Five major content updates have shipped since launch: the Crash Site Expedition (February 4, 2026), Monster Mayhem with a large new monster roster (May 6, 2026), Summer Sparks with new items and encounters for all heroes (June 3, 2026), The Invasion Begins kicking off Season 16 (July 1, 2026), and Roughtown Rockstars launching a new playable hero — The Dragons — on August 5, 2026. The most recent patch (Hotfix 17.1) was posted on August 6, 2026, just eight days before today's assessment date. Three paid hero DLCs have been released to complement the free content: Mak and Stelle at launch (August 13, 2025), Jules (November 6, 2025), and Karnok (March 4, 2026). The Dragons hero added in August 2026 follows the same pattern — purchasable now, with a note that they'll become free after the game's planned mobile launch. In a detailed anniversary post on March 30, 2026, the developer described ongoing development plans including new game modes, expanded leaderboard features, a cosmetic system update, and an upcoming mobile launch. They also committed to continuing to add content to all existing heroes. Tournament Mode has been in active public testing since July 2026 and the developer has stated they are "hopeful to have this out for everyone soon." The game runs a live seasonal economy with recurring Prize Passes, cosmetic chests, seasonal store rotations, and competitive leaderboard reward cycles — all structures that are designed to reset and refresh indefinitely. The store description describes the game as having an "ever-growing catalog of content" and an "expanding roster of heroes." This is a game that is designed to continue growing, not to reach a finished state.
