The Bell Echoes launched its Version 1.0 release on September 28, 2026, officially concluding its Early Access period. The developer announced this milestone on September 23, 2026, alongside a launch discount event. During Early Access, the game received substantial development: a roadmap published on February 9, 2026 outlined multiple content phases including chapters, new characters, new regions, and system expansions, all of which were delivered — Chapter 4 (with character Chris and the Lava Volcano) shipped May 29, 2026, and Chapter 5 (with character Syl and the Imperial Capital Dungeon) shipped July 25, 2026. Numerous feature and balance patches followed through August 2026. The February 2026 roadmap did mention that the 1.0 release would introduce "more new gameplay modes (such as higher difficulty structures or variants)" and "a final global polish on game balance, visual performance, and text quality." However, the 1.0 launch itself was the culmination of the EA roadmap, and no specific post-1.0 content has been announced by the developer.
