The Binding of Isaac

The Binding of Isaac launched on September 28, 2011 and received one paid expansion, Wrath of the Lamb, on May 28, 2012. That expansion is the only DLC ever listed for this game, and it has been fully released. The store short description references a "Free Halloween update," which was a small promotional update from the game's early life — not a sign of ongoing development. The two most recent developer posts on this game's Steam page (August 2025 and January 2026) are focused entirely on Edmund McMillen's next title, Mewgenics, which released on February 10, 2026. The August 2025 post does mention a quality-of-life update coming to "Repentance" — but Repentance is part of The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+/Rebirth lineage (Steam App ID 250900), which is a separate, later game, not this original 2011 release. Neither post announces any new content for this original version of The Binding of Isaac. This game is the original Flash-based port on Steam. It has not received any developer communication about new content for itself, and its only DLC shipped in May 2012. The game launched as a largely complete product and its content cycle concluded over a decade ago with Wrath of the Lamb.
