Evaluation
The Curse of Monkey Island is a classic 1997 adventure game from LucasArts, re-released on Steam on March 22, 2018. It is a fully self-contained, story-complete game — the third entry in the Monkey Island series. After its Steam launch, the developer added language support for French, Italian, German, and Spanish on June 1, 2018, which appears to be the last substantive post-launch work done on this version. There is no DLC, no season pass, and no roadmap of future content. The only other developer communication on the Steam page — a July 5, 2022 announcement — was simply a promotional notice pointing to the reveal of Return to Monkey Island, a separate game in the series. No further updates or additions to The Curse of Monkey Island itself have been announced or released. This game shipped as a complete, finished product and has received no post-launch content additions beyond the language patch.

About this game
I've sailed the seas from Trinidad to Tortuga and I've never seen anything like it! The engagement ring I gave Elaine has a terrible pirate curse on it. LeChuck is behind it, I'm sure. I should have known that nothing good could come out of that evil zombie's treasures. And if that's not bad enough, the clairvoyant I met in the mangrove swamp told me that if I am to break the curse and save Elaine, I will have to die!
