Evaluation

The Game of Life 2 launched on Steam on December 11, 2020 and has since released a total of 10 themed world DLCs. The developer explicitly described the final DLC — Superhero World, released on December 14, 2023 — as "the 10th and final world," completing what they called the "Ultimate Life Collection." This is a direct developer statement that the DLC content series is finished. All 10 DLC world packs are now released and marked as such in the store listing, and no unreleased DLC entries exist. A July 2024 anniversary post celebrated delivering all 10 worlds across 6 platforms, reinforcing that the content slate is complete. There are no developer announcements of future worlds, expansions, or content updates beyond that point. The game was developed with a clear content roadmap that concluded as planned. Someone waiting for all content to ship can consider the game fully complete as of December 14, 2023.
