The Genesis Order launched in early access on Steam on September 1, 2023, and reached its full 1.0 release on April 2, 2024. The 1.0 update was substantial, adding 16 new side quests, 21 XXX shop videos, 62 Kamasutra pages, 56 Limbo puzzles, new content for a character named Arianna, Steam achievements, community items, and Steam Deck compatibility. The developer described it as including "all the remaining content implemented," signaling that the game's content development was complete at that point.
Following the 1.0 launch, the only update posted to this game's news feed was a minor polish/bug fix on July 17, 2024. Since then, NLT Media's communications have shifted entirely to their next project: Symphony of the Serpent, for which a Steam Next Fest demo went live on June 15, 2026.
