The God's Chain launched on August 14, 2016. The developer posted two patches in the days immediately following launch: v1.1 on August 16, 2016, and v1.2 on August 22, 2016. The v1.1 patch notes included the line "Another update is coming soon," but that promise was fulfilled by the v1.2 patch that arrived six days later. There have been no developer communications of any kind since August 22, 2016 — nearly a decade of silence. No DLC has ever been listed, no roadmap was published, and no future content has been announced. The game launched as a finished product and received only short-term post-launch maintenance patching. Development activity stopped shortly after launch.

Evidence
