The Good Life launched on Steam on November 21, 2014. The only post-launch developer activity was a single feature patch (v2.2.3) released on December 27, 2014, which overhauled the end-game condition. After that update, there have been no further developer communications of any kind — no new content, no announcements, no roadmap, and no statements about future plans. The game appears to have launched as a largely finished product and received one post-launch patch before development activity ceased entirely. With no announced future content, no unreleased DLC, and over a decade of silence from the developer, the game is complete.
Evidence
Version 2.2.3 shipped with a reworked end-game condition and Hall of Fame leaderboard. This is the last known developer communication.
The Good Life launched on Steam on November 21, 2014, with an enhanced edition including Trading Cards, Achievements, and new features. A Mac version was noted as planned for the near future.

After a long voyage, he and his striking girlfriend Michelle Joyce finally arrive at their destination, enjoying the beautiful sunrise, with a Boating Company of their own. Compared to the dull office life, this new life looks much better. Finally but suddenly, life is good!
