The Hand of Glory is a completed point-and-click adventure game. It launched in two parts: Part 1 on June 9, 2020, and Part 2 on December 4, 2020 — together forming the full game as originally promised to backers. The only DLC is a soundtrack released on March 14, 2022, which is a bonus item rather than story content.
The developer's attention has fully shifted to the sequel, "Roots in the Sky - The Hand of Glory 2." The sequel was announced on July 6, 2022, a demo was released on January 30, 2023, and the sequel launched on August 26, 2026. In June 2026, the developer released a technical update for the original game — upgrading it to the latest engine version with controller support, Steam Deck improvements, and cloud saves — but this was explicitly framed as preparation for the sequel's launch, not as new story content.
