Evaluation
The Last Crown: Midnight Horror released on October 29, 2015 as a self-contained, standalone point-and-click adventure — explicitly described as an "intermezzo" between two other games in the series. The developer shipped a series of post-launch patches through late 2015 and into 2017, adding a widescreen display option (December 6, 2015) and German language subtitles (October 5, 2017). These updates were polish and accessibility improvements, not new story content. The most recent official soundtrack DLC was released on May 21, 2026, but this is a music package rather than new game content. The game launched as a complete, finite story experience and has received no major content additions since launch. The developer's last substantive communication about the game was the German localization patch on October 5, 2017. There are no unreleased DLC items, no announced future content, and no roadmap or developer statement indicating anything further is planned.
Evidence
Launch announcement describes Midnight Horror as a standalone ghost story and 'super Prologue' for the next game, Blackenrock. No post-launch content promised for Midnight Horror itself.
Soundtrack DLC released on May 21, 2026 — a music package. All DLC items are released; none are pending.

About this game
Halloween: the veil between our world and the 'otherside' is at its weakest. Witches celebrate Samhain, a Celtic festival from the old religion, conjuring the dead and communing with the spirits. Nigel Danvers, ghost-hunter, knows all about the ghosts that dwell in the darkness, he has seen plenty to convince him there are dark forces at work. So, why is Halloween so different? Dusting down his old ghost-hunting gadgets, Nigel gets to work. Something is haunting the guest rooms above the local harbour side pub, The Bear. Who or what hides in the shadowy corners of the old Inn? What is the presence at the end of the Harbour Wall? Nigel has one night to find out, before the veil returns to full strength, and the Halloween Horror is gone, for another year.
