The Search is a short, self-contained story-driven puzzle-adventure that launched on April 13, 2017. The developer shipped two small post-launch patches in April and May 2017 addressing technical issues (VSync, resolution options), and released the game's soundtrack as DLC on September 21, 2017. No other content has been announced or released for The Search itself.
All developer communications after 2017 concern separate games — Discolored (announced November 2018, released November 2019) and Discolored Episode 2 (announced March 2022). The developer has consistently described The Search as a completed, standalone work, and the store description explicitly calls it "a short, story-driven puzzle-adventure." There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmap, and no post-launch content commitments for this title.
The game launched as a finished product and its only post-launch addition was the soundtrack DLC released September 21, 2017, which marks the end of any content activity for the game.
