Evaluation

The Settlers: Rise of an Empire – History Edition is a modernized re-release of a classic game, published by Ubisoft on January 22, 2019. The store description makes clear this is a complete package: it includes the base game and its expansion, The Eastern Realm, along with Windows 10 compatibility and Uplay multiplayer support. There is no language suggesting additional content is planned — it is presented as a finished, self-contained product. The only developer communication after launch was a bug fix patch on February 27, 2019, addressing a handful of launch issues. There have been no further posts since that date, no DLC listed on the store, no roadmap, and no announcements of upcoming content. This matches the profile of a legacy re-release published as a complete, polished package with no ongoing development cycle.

Evidence

Store description explicitly states the game includes the main game and the expansion The Eastern Realm, presenting it as a complete package. Windows 10 compatibility and Uplay multiplayer are listed as the modernization highlights.
