The Shopkeeper

The Shopkeeper is a self-described "interactive short" — a brief, narrative point-and-click experience that launched on October 23, 2014. The store description presents it as a contained, finished story with no mention of additional episodes, expansions, or ongoing content. The only post-launch developer communication is a v1.1 patch from December 18, 2014, which addressed cursor improvements and minor bug fixes. While that patch mentioned two small quality-of-life features planned for a future version (skippable animations and dialogue tree tracking), no such update ever appears to have shipped — and more importantly, these were minor UI/UX improvements, not content additions. There has been no developer communication of any kind since December 2014. Given the game's nature as a short, self-contained narrative piece, the near-11-year silence, and the absence of any announced expansions or additional content, the game is best understood as a complete, finished product that launched as such.
