Evaluation

The Song of Saya is a remastered release of a classic visual novel by Nitroplus, published by JAST USA on Steam on August 12, 2019. The store description presents it as a complete, remastered package with a new game engine, higher resolution images, an improved translation, and better Windows 10 compatibility. Visual novels of this type are self-contained, story-driven experiences with a defined beginning and end — there are no DLC listings, no season pass, and no developer announcements of additional content for this title. The one news post associated with this game's Steam page is a publisher announcement (dated March 31, 2025) promoting a separate, unrelated Nitroplus title called "Mojika - Truth Rears Its Ugly Head." It contains no information about future updates or content additions for The Song of Saya itself. The game launched as a complete product and all available evidence points to it remaining that way.

Evidence

Game is presented as a remastered complete edition of the original visual novel, with no mention of planned DLC, expansions, or post-launch content additions.
