The Stanley Parable is a complete, finished game. It launched on October 17, 2013 as a fully realized narrative experience, and the developer has never announced any post-launch content additions for this original release. The only notable post-launch activity was a bug fix and localization patch in July 2014. In December 2021, developer Davey Wreden announced that The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe — a separately sold, expanded re-imagining of the game — was content complete and preparing for release. That expanded version launched on April 27, 2022 as its own distinct product on its own Steam page. The developer's most recent communication on this game's store page (June 2024) announced an entirely new game called Wanderstop. There is no outstanding content, no announced DLC, and no development activity directed at this original release. The game shipped as a complete package and has remained that way.
