The Town of Light

The Town of Light launched on February 26, 2016 and received several post-launch patches improving performance, localization, and adding features. The most significant update arrived on June 6, 2017, when LKA released the free "Enhanced" update for all Steam players — coinciding with the game's console release. This update added new story elements, extended voice-over, graphical improvements, new music, and additional in-game content, representing the last meaningful content addition to the game. Since June 2017, there have been no further patches, content updates, or developer communications about The Town of Light itself. The only DLC on the store — a launch-day extras pack containing the artbook, soundtrack, and diary — was released on February 26, 2016, and there are no unreleased DLC entries. Recent news posts on the game's Steam page (from December 2025 through June 2026) are announcements for LKA's next title, When Sirens Fall Silent, which is a new and separate game. These posts are promotional cross-announcements using The Town of Light's established audience as a platform, not indications of new content for The Town of Light itself. The game launched as a complete narrative experience and received its final content enhancement in June 2017. No further content has been announced or is expected.
