The Watchers launched on February 6, 2020 as a complete co-op stealth game. Post-launch, the developer issued a handful of patches improving gameplay, adding translations, and upgrading the network library — the last of which was version 1.2 on November 8, 2022. The only DLC released was the soundtrack on February 27, 2020, and no additional DLC has been listed or announced. The developer's post-launch energy was visibly redirected toward DEVOUR, a related but separate game that launched in January 2021. The October 2020 patch notes explicitly noted that planned version 1.2.0 improvements for The Watchers would come "as soon as we launch DEVOUR first," signaling that The Watchers was being maintained on a secondary track. The v1.2 network update in November 2022 appears to be the last official communication about the game. No future content, expansions, or updates have been announced at any point, and there has been no developer communication since November 8, 2022. The game shipped as a complete narrative experience and has received only maintenance-level updates since launch.

STORY
There’s a half-forgotten structure hidden in the hills of the Coyote Valley and twins Luisa and Frederico Puerta aren’t leaving until they find out what happened there 15 years ago. After their estranged mother Anna succeeded there as leader of The Watchers of Azazel, everything changed. The flames were seen by a local farmer, the screams heard by a passing hiker, the blood seen by noone. What happened to the cult’s members? Where is Anna Puerta?Are these done yet?
