Evaluation

The Way We All Go is a visual novel that launched on Steam on March 24, 2015 as a complete, standalone product. The developer, ebi-hime, has not added any DLC or post-launch content to the original 2015 release — it shipped as a finished product. The most notable recent development is that ebi-hime released a full remake of the game on November 5, 2025 (a few days after the intended Halloween launch), published as a separate Steam listing (App ID 3422290). The remake upgrades the resolution to 1920x1080, replaces all art assets with newly commissioned work, adds an original soundtrack, includes 15 unlockable bonus stories, and introduces a brand new route with two additional endings — roughly 80,000 words of new content on top of the revised original text. The developer explicitly confirmed that the original 2015 build would remain available on Steam unchanged. Because the remake is a separate product, it has no bearing on the completion status of this original 2015 listing. This game launched as a finished visual novel and has remained exactly that throughout its entire life on Steam. There is no unshipped content tied to this specific listing.
Evidence
Developer announces a remake as a separate product, explicitly stating the original VN will remain on Steam unchanged for players who prefer the older aesthetic.

About this game

It’s been two years since Atcchan, our protagonist, left his hometown; a small, sleepy village with a tiny population. Now he is finally able to return - but only for three days. How will his old friends react to him, and will their relationships be able to stand the test of time?

For a person who’s always been afraid of change, this is a worrying prospect for our hero… but it’s something he will have to overcome if he can ever hope to right his past wrongs. And a failure to do so can result in some rather unpleasant outcomes...
