Evaluation
There's Poop In My Soup launched on March 14, 2016 as a casual indie game by solo developer Nikola Kostic (K Bros Games). After launch, the developer shipped one notable update: a Steam Workshop feature on April 6, 2016 that allowed players to create and share custom characters. The developer mentioned plans to expand the workshop with a level editor and custom challenge list creator, but no follow-through on those plans was ever posted.
The developer's attention quickly shifted to sequel projects. A follow-up game, Super Duper Party Pooper, was announced on Greenlight on May 16, 2016 and launched on June 6, 2016. A second sequel, Poop 2, had its store page go live on April 15, 2017. The last developer communication of any kind for this game dates to April 15, 2017, and even that post was primarily promoting the Poop 2 sequel rather than announcing new content for this game.
There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap commitments, and no developer statements promising future updates to this title. The game launched as a compact, self-contained casual experience and has received no meaningful updates since April 2016. It is a finished product.
Evidence
Developer announces a second sequel, Poop 2, with its own store page. This is the last official communication from the developer for this game.
Super Duper Party Pooper launches on Steam — the developer's sequel is now out, further indicating development focus has moved away from this game.
