Third Crisis launched out of Early Access on May 19, 2024, with the developer explicitly stating that "the story of Third Crisis is now complete." This 1.0 release added the three main story endings and marked the conclusion of the game's development. A modding update shipped on May 10, 2025 added community tools (an in-game dialogue editor and scripting framework) but no new story content. All developer activity since mid-2025 has been focused on a separate standalone prequel, Third Crisis: Neon Nights, which entered its own Early Access on April 2, 2026 and is currently receiving active biweekly development reports. Those reports are for the new game, not for Third Crisis. Third Crisis itself has no unreleased DLC on the store and no announced future content. The game is complete.
