This Is Golf

This Is Golf launched on August 18, 2026 as a full release rather than in Early Access, and the developer has been updating it at a fast pace since. Patches followed on August 26, August 28, August 31, September 11 and October 1, 2026. These added a practice swing state, an 18-hole leaderboard, a putter sensitivity setting, a short game range with a new sand wedge, a spectate camera, and a 9-hole leaderboard. On August 19, 2026 the developer said they still had a lot of content they wanted to add and listed the next items to work on, including a better camera after finishing a hole, a display of the selected club, and a ready state for the practice swing. On August 26, 2026 they also said that once stability work was in good shape, they would start on stats, leaderboards and game modes. Leaderboards have since arrived, but no game modes have been reported yet. The developer has explicitly said more content is planned, so the game is still in progress.
