This Means Warp launched into Early Access in March 2022, received several major content updates throughout that period (Updates 1–4), and graduated to its full 1.0 release on May 4, 2023. A console release (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch) followed on November 17, 2023, which was the last significant content milestone for the game. No DLC, expansions, or future content have ever been announced for This Means Warp.
Since the console launch, the developer's attention has visibly shifted to new projects. In September 2024, Outlier announced their next game, Mars Attracts, and released a demo for it in March 2025. In March 2026, the studio announced yet another new game, Kitman. Neither of these announcements referenced any future content for This Means Warp. The most recent developer communication touching This Means Warp came on March 12, 2026, simply mentioning it as one of the studio's previous titles. There have been no roadmaps, DLC announcements, or any indication of further development for this game. It launched as a complete product and has received no new content since the November 2023 console release.
