Evaluation

Tiny Town VR launched on August 2, 2017 and received a steady stream of updates through mid-2018. The developer (a solo developer operating under the Lumbernauts name) shipped four major content updates during this period: the first update added trains and new characters (August 10, 2017), Update #4 added space content, primitive shapes, bridges, and landscape tools (November 1, 2017), and Update #6 on July 31, 2018 added two free DLC packs covering zombie and military themes. Several feature patches and bug fixes were also released in between. The last developer communication of any kind was the Update #6 post on July 31, 2018. There have been no announcements, patches, blog posts, or other communications from the developer since that date — now nearly eight years ago. No future content was announced in that final update, and no unreleased DLC is listed on the store. The game's store description makes no mention of planned additions. Given the extended silence and the absence of any outstanding commitments, the game's content appears to have concluded with the July 31, 2018 update.
Evidence
Update #6 shipped two free DLC packs (Zombie and Military themes). This is the last developer communication on record.

About this game

About Tiny Town VR

Tiny Town VR is a casual world-building game in virtual reality, inspired by the nostalgic storytelling power of LEGO and action figures mixed with the excitement of making something original. Build your world, big or small, then fill it with thousands of different objects. Add characters whose joints can be pushed, pulled and twisted into any pose imaginable, then give them a voice with custom speech bubbles. Once the scene is set, capture your story using the in-game camera, add captions, then save it or share it with your friends, direct to Facebook. Make something funny. Make something powerful. Make something your own.
