Together in Between launched on September 2, 2024 and received patches and feature updates through late 2024. The developer then went quiet for a period while working on other projects (Together in Forgotten Lands and Ticking Together) and dealing with personal and professional challenges.
On February 18, 2026, the developer published a candid update explaining the extended silence and formally announcing their return to the game. They committed to fixing a persistent game-breaking bug, improving puzzle guidance, and making quality-of-life improvements — and specifically mentioned the possibility of "small but meaningful content additions." The developer also pledged to communicate more regularly going forward rather than going silent.
This is an active, personal commitment from the developer to resume work on the game. The planned improvements include both technical fixes and new content, so the game is not yet in its final state. Someone waiting for the most polished version of Together in Between should hold off until these improvements have been delivered.

Intrigued by it, one of them innocently makes the mistake of trying to read it, As soon as the book is opened, it starts shining and pulls them inside. Trapped in a place called Dimensia inside the magical book, the couple finds themselves in an old library, absent of any color.
