Evaluation

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered launched on February 14, 2025 as a complete collection of three remastered games. Since launch, Aspyr has delivered two substantive patches: Patch 1 on April 18, 2025, which added new outfits, Photo Mode upgrades, expanded graphics settings, and a wide range of visual and gameplay improvements across all three titles; and Patch 2 on August 14, 2025, which added the Golden Pistols unlock feature alongside another round of bug fixes. A hotfix followed on September 19, 2025 to remove unauthorized AI-generated voice content that had been included in Patch 2. No further updates have been issued since September 19, 2025, and there is no announced DLC, expansion, or additional content for this title. The developer has not communicated any plans for future updates. Separately, Aspyr posted on June 8, 2026 about a pre-purchase announcement for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis — a different, upcoming game — which has no bearing on the content status of this collection. The store description describes a fixed set of three games with no indication of additional content. The collection appears to have reached its final state as of the September 2025 hotfix.
