Touhou Blooming Chaos launched on September 30, 2019. In the weeks following launch, the developer shipped a rapid series of patches adding features like save/load, a minimap, gamepad support, and balance adjustments. The sole major content update arrived on November 8, 2019, adding a new playable character (Rin Satsuki), her exclusive storyline, three new endings, Challenge Mode, a leaderboard, and additional boss music. This represents the only post-launch content drop of substance.
After November 8, 2019, developer communication went entirely silent — no further news posts, patches, or announcements have been made. The one DLC listed is a released soundtrack (OST) that shipped on April 11, 2020. No unreleased DLC exists on the store. There are no developer statements about future content, no roadmap beyond the initial post-launch to-do list (which was addressed by the November 2019 update), and no indication the developer intends to ship anything further. The last official communication of any kind was the April 11, 2020 OST release — over six years before today's date of June 26, 2026. The game appears to have reached its final state with the November 2019 major update.
