Tournament Ark

Tournament Ark is a free-to-play deck builder that reached its 1.0 launch on December 18, 2022. Since then, solo developer Faws has delivered a sustained pattern of content updates over multiple years. Two named major updates have shipped post-launch: Update 1.3 (Undead Archetype) on July 18, 2023, which added a new archetype, 20 cards, 10 perks, and 6 fighters; and Update v1.4 (Specializations) on January 5, 2025, which added 51 unlockable specializations, 11 new fighters, a reworked main menu and character creator, and other features. The gap between these two major releases was approximately 18 months. As of today, October 1, 2026, it has been approximately 21 months since the last major update on January 5, 2025 — modestly beyond the ~18-month gap established between the two prior major releases. The previous evaluation also noted maintenance patches continuing as recently as October 7, 2025, suggesting the developer remained engaged well into 2025. However, the 10 most relevant news posts returned do not include any post–January 2025 communications, and the developer has not announced any specific future content or confirmed that development is complete. The established cadence between major updates is roughly 18 months. At 21 months out, we are just past that window, but the developer has never signaled that development is finished. With a solo developer, some variability in cadence is expected, and the overall pattern — substantial updates delivered across more than two years post-launch — indicates this is a game the developer continues to invest in. The situation sits right at the edge of the cadence window, but without a completion statement or a prolonged communication blackout extending well beyond the pattern, the sustained multi-year update history still supports ongoing development.
