Town Of The Dead Life launched on January 12, 2021 and received a flurry of patches and feature updates in its first few weeks — fixing bugs, adding quality-of-life features, and responding to player feedback. The most substantial content addition came on January 28, 2021, when the developer added 5 boss encounters and a difficulty selection system. A final feature patch was posted on June 26, 2021, adding a quick-exploration function and minor optimizations. That June 2021 post is the last developer communication on record. Since then — now over five years ago as of June 2026 — there have been no further updates, announcements, or developer communications of any kind. The developer's January 19, 2021 post mentioned plans for boss battles and difficulty modes, both of which shipped in the January 28, 2021 update, fulfilling those commitments.
