Evaluation

Travellin Cats Around the World 2 launched on June 11, 2025 as a complete hidden object game with 20 levels and 2,000 hidden cats. The developer described it from the start as "a direct continuation with 20 brand new levels" and "no new features, just more of what you already love" — a self-contained, finished sequel. Post-launch activity has been minimal and maintenance-focused: a bug fix on August 8, 2025 addressed sound issues in a few levels. In February 2026, the developer posted about a mandatory title change from "Cats Hidden Around the World 2" to "Travellin Cats Around the World 2" due to a trademark dispute, explicitly confirming "everything else stays the same." This was an administrative rename, not a content update. The most recent developer communication (July 1, 2026) announced the launch of a separate game, "Travellin Cats in USA," for August 24, 2026 — a different title in the series, not additional content for this game. No DLC, expansions, or future content have been announced for this title. The game launched and remains a complete, finished product.
